I'm not going to join in with the morons who complain about these things every year, but I'm definitely not overly impressed with the hats this year. The Charr looks a little.. goofy and the facepaint is extremely similar to last years.
I actually love the idea of the facepaint though, and the skull one is pretty cool. But I think they'd work better as max armour things you can wear all the time, they don't really have the same impact at the events as the big masks do.

Yeah they're not bad, but I'm not really a fan of the face paints and the animal masks.
I prefer the Pumpkin still tbh.
I just realised I didn't show my Mummy mask to the [Festival Hats] in 2007 -__-, and of course I deleted it back then too, ah well.

I'm sorry but they're poor. Skeleton paint is cool but has the same flaws as the zombie one and looks pretty similar too. Whilst the charr one is just depressing, they made it too much liek real halloween where people dress up. This is a friggin RPG, needed more things like the first pumpkin crown which was easily the best.

Char mask is GW version of Frankensteins monster imo. Sewn together with staples in the head. Skeleton mask is cool looking but i wish it went to the toons hairline, cuts off on many foreheads. Seems like the monster mash themes predicted in the "what would you like to see for mask" thread is ringing true. Next year....Skale Creature from the Mamnoon Lagoon mask and something Vampire i predict.
Lol at Power of Greyskull comment. Thread winner.

Would be sick if a dervish could wear the face paint with the hood. With a full black outfit, that would look insane.

A.net needs to introduce some way to craft these things with armor so they can be used in PvE and PvP, please

I agree, that'd be badass. Especially with Primeval which already is rather sinister-looking as it is (it has a very Sith feel to me, I love it).
